'A lot of what I do starts with a fascination for
nature and science.
nature and science.
Working with the ‘real’ world creates a lot of
unexpected beauty, one that is very hard to
animate through software; focusing on organic
shapes and textures.

In my work I play a lot with scale, enlarging small
details and creating new worlds out of these;
finding a certain abstraction and dream state
through microscopes and macro lenses.

There is a certain beauty in the overlap and
abstraction of the smallest and biggest objects in
our universe, visualising a complex connectivity.

The world around us is slowly losing its mystery,
and I hope to bring back some of it through my
work.Bringing back a fascination for the
unknown in our natural world.'
